About
Toi Anii is my attempt to do something constructive with something I've been doing for years.
When I was seven, my grandmother taught me how to construct jewelry to convey emotions, messages, ambiance, and to respect the often sacred origins of the components and the effort every craftsperson put into its making.
It seemed like a good idea to combine my love of design and jewelry making, with my deep respect for the craft of component making to help ease my way through university (and give me a perfectly legit excuse to make beautiful stuff.)
So my intention is to create and present you with wearable works of art imbued with the love of the toiling hand.
All the components used are Fair Trade, and (as often as possible), bought from source.
